Position Summary/Purpose of Position: | ● This position will be the focal point of our systems integration of computer, storage and networking in UMIACS. They will work closely with the technical staff to administer and operate the Institute’s technical capacity to meet the dynamic systems requirements for our faculty, labs and centers. |
Minimum Qualifications: | ● Bachelor’s degree, by Jan. 1, 2020, in Computer Science or a related field. |
Preferences: | ● Workload management software experience with experience in SLURM a plus. |

Physical Demands | Must be able to type, read a computer screen, and converse (listen to and speak with) with customers and fellow IT staffers. Must be able to lift, twist, and bend in order to be able to move computer equipment. |
